Sometimes you will like to know how much your fare will be.

We provide you a formula with wich you can obtain a estimate of your total fare.

First go to our link Mapquest.com, where you will set the starting and ending point of your ride. Then you will have the route and the distance between those points. Take this distance (in miles) and multiply it by $2.50  and then add another $2.00 Drop Charge.

Beside those, you might have some other charges according to the Authorized Taxi Rates in Rhode Island.

• $2.00 For the first 1/10 mile (drop charge)
• $0.25 Per each succeeding 1/10 mile
• $25.00 Per hour for waiting time
• An additional charge of $1.00 per passenger beyond the first two (2)
• $5.00 Charge for each large item of luggage, defined as an item:

        Weighing more then 70 pounds or one that will not fit in the taxicab's         closed trunk.
